My recommendation for those seeking shared, secure storage (with apologies for alliteration) is combining a cloud-based service like Dropbox with encryption under personal control. Standardize on something like Truecrypt, place a Truecrypt-encrypted file container inside a Dropbox volume, and voila: convenience, multi-platform compatibility and security without having to rely on any third-party vendor promise. {ProfJonathan}
